Measure Mass in Customary Units

Pound (lb) and ounce (oz) are customary units used when measuring weight.

You can measure things that are very light - a paper clip, a key, or a slice of bread - in ounces.

You can measure things that are heavy - a bicycle, a chair, or a loaf of bread - in pounds.
