On Your Feet

     Sneakers and sandals are just two types of shoes that protect our feet.  They each serve a purpose and are worn for different occasions.  The style of footwear a person chooses can also tell something about his or her personality.  A person in yellow sandals may be considered an upbeat, "sunny" person.  A person in "sensible" brown sneakers may be very practical.

     The type of shoes a person has can tell us about the wearer.  When you see a person wearing Air Jordans, you could conclude that he or she plays or enjoys basketball.  A fancy sandal might tell you that a person likes to dress up and look her best.  On the other hand, flip flops may indicate a relaxed personality.

     It is better to wear sneakers when you are doing something active.  You shouldn't go for a hike on a mountain wearing sandals.  There is a greater possibility that you will hurt your feet.  Sneakers tend to enclose your whole foot in comfort and stability, which makes them a much better choice when you are exercising.
